Snowdonia, November '05

During a three-day visit to North Wales in late November we enjoyed fine, frosty and calm weather. These panoramas were taken on the first day, when we walked on the Glyders starting from the Pen y Gwrydd inn:

The view southward from below the top of Glyder Fawr, about 11am.

And this was taken just after sunset as we came down the Miners' Path after traversing Glyder Fach.

On the third day we wandered gently up Lliwedd from Nant Gwynant:

The valley was filled with mist, gradually thinning.

On top we were above the more general haze layer once again.

The southward view..

And the evening light on neighbouring Yr Aran.
